Caramel Apples

Ingredients

  • 5 apples, washed and well dried
  • 1 pkg (14 oz.) KRAFT Caramels
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 1/2 cups BAKER’S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut, toasted
  • 2 squares BAKER’S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Directions

  1. Insert wooden pop sticks into stem ends of apples.
  2. Microwave caramels and water in deep microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until caramels are melted, stirring every minute.
  3. Dip apples in caramel, turning to evenly coat; scrape excess from bottoms of apples.
  4. Roll apples in coconut and place on greased tray.
  5. Refrigerate 15 minutes.
  6. Microwave chocolate in separate deep microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 1.25 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 minute.
  7. Drizzle chocolate over apples and return to tray.
  8. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
  9. Keep refrigerated.
