Cookie Dough Truffles

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 pounds chocolate bark candy coating, melted

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Gradually beat in flour and add milk.
  4. Add chocolate morsels and pecans, mixing well.
  5. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on waxed paper.
  6. Chill for 2 hours. *Since dough is sticky, roll fingers into flour.*
  7. Melt chocolate bark candy coating in a double boiler.
  8. Using two forks, dip cookie balls into candy coating to cover.
  9. Place on waxed paper and chill to set.
  10. Store in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
