Spicy Grilled Quesadillas


  • 8 (8 inch) flour tortillas
  • 8 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 jar (16 0z) Pace(R) Chunky Salsa
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 4 medium green onions, chopped
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 container (8 0z) sour cream


  1. Top each of 4 tortillas with 1/2 cup cheese, 1/4 cup salsa, 1/4 cup chicken and 2 tablespoons green onions.
  2. Brush edges of tortillas with water and top with remaining tortillas and press edges to seal.
  3. Lightly oil grill rack and heat grill to medium.
  4. Brush tops of quesadillas with oil and place them oil-side down on grill rack.
  5. Brush other side with oil.
  6. Grill for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted, turning the quesadillas over once during grilling.
  7. Remove the quesadillas from the grill and let them stand for 2 minutes.
  8. Cut each quesadilla into 4 wedges and serve with the remaining salsa and sour cream.
