Monkey Bread


  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4-can pack of refrigerated biscuit dough*
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4  cup butter or margarine, melted
*I used the pack that has the monkey bread recipe on the back, rather than the 2 packs of Grands this recipe calls for.*


  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease 12-cup fluted tube pan with shortening of cooking spray.
  2. In medium-sized bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Separate dough into biscuits and cut each into quarters.
  4. Roll in cinnamon sugar to coat and arrange in pan.
  5. In small bowl, mix brown sugar and melted butter and pour over biscuit pieces.
  6. Bake 28-32 minutes or until golden brown and no longer doughy in center.
  7. Cool in pan 10 minutes and turn upside down onto serving plate.
  8. Pull apart to serve.
